Our association organized an educational and interesting event called “Anti-fake news bootcamp”, which aimed to help young people recognize and combat misinformation in the digital age.
During the training, participants learned how fake news spreads on social media, how algorithms influence what we see on the Internet, and why critical thinking is essential for responsible media consumption. Through interactive tasks, group discussions, and fact-checking exercises, participants learned to analyze sources, verify information, and identify manipulative content. At the end, the winners of the final quiz received their gifts.
"The Anti-Fake News bootcamp" not only raised awareness about the challenges of the modern information space, but also gave young people the opportunity to become conscious, responsible digital citizens — one of the main goals of the Street of Youth Association's mission, which is to support education and active citizenship.
