The project “Unmmuted : United Needs, Mobilizing Minds - Together Ending the Stigma of Silence” has taken place in Soajo, Portugal, from August 21st to August 31st, 2024. This program has gathered 28 young individuals and youth leaders from 4 countries : Portugal, Turkey, Hungary and Romania.
This project has focused on raising awareness on mental health, breaking the stigma around it, empowering youth and inspiring actions. Participants have shared experiences, created and implemented action plans and developed empathy and communication.
As well, the youth exchange has taken place in the serene mountain setting of Soajo, Portugal, and created an environment conducive to learning and personal growth. The venue has featured Yurta-style tents located in the district of Viana do Castelo.
